Question: What should I bring to the Initial Appointment? Answer: Completed customer information form - Doctor's orders (Prescription)Insurance cards, old braces(orthotics) or prostheses. Question: Can you just get all of my paperwork for me? Because the existence of paperwork is directly related to a visit by you, it is easier for you to obtain the paperwork. We can certainly request information from your physician, but we cannot force them to supply it to us. Question: Can you just call my doctor and tell him what you want? No, your physician must let us know what it is that they would like us to do for you. Question: Does my insurance cover this procedure? Answer: Each insurance policy is different. We will perform a Bio mechanical Evaluation and submit the "codes" to the Billing Department, who then will follow-up individually to discuss the findings of coverage availability. Question: I have no health insurance. Answer: No problem...Call us and we will assist you in anyway we can. Question: What is the "Life Expectancy" of the Orthosis or Prostheses? Answer: It depends on the materials used. Some soft materials compress quickly and need adjustments or replacements periodically. Other, more rigid materials will remain in their original state for years. However, we recommend a maintenance appointment every 6 months to a year. This will ensure alignment and cushioning is functioning at it's best. Question: Can I call if I have any problems? Answer: Yes! We are more than glad to speak with you on the phone or to schedule an appointment to assist you. Question: Are you Certified? Answer: Yes! Our practitioners are ABC and BOC certified. Question: Do I need a "New" Prescription for every visit? Answer: Yes. In most cases “Doctors orders” or prescriptions are mandatory if we are providing a new service or adjustment to an item we did not originally supply. Question: Are you Wheelchair Accessible? Answer: Yes.We also have a wheelchair for patients to use. Question: What can I do if I have any other questions?
